Building on Proven Experience

ABTech Engine Assembly Systems are built around that reality. Ultra-precision air-bearing rotary tables provide a stable reference axis, while precision gauging, robust system structures, and application-specific fixtures support components with widely varying geometries.
These systems can measure critical characteristics including roundness, flatness, concentricity, parallelism, and perpendicularity while supporting the alignment and assembly processes required for high-pressure compressor and turbine sections.
Producing systems to established GE Aerospace requirements provided an important proving ground for ABTech. It demanded precision, consistency, reliability, and the ability to reproduce system performance for ongoing programs.

From Established Specifications to a Proprietary Platform
GE Aerospace programs remain an important part of ABTech's engine assembly experience. The knowledge gained through those programs has also helped us expand into additional products supporting Turbine Engine production.
FormStack™ brings critical measurement and capabilities into a proprietary ABTech software environment. As an internally developed program, ABTech’s engineering team has the flexibility to develop systems around other engine manufacturers, engine families, components, and assembly processes.
What needs to be measured? How is the component fixtured? What geometric relationships are critical? How should measurement data be captured, analyzed, and presented? How does the system need to integrate with the customer's existing process?
